The best way to celebrate Independence Day is firing up the grill and enjoying the sun. While the beer drinkers stick close to the cooler we’re mixing up some amazing summer time libations. Here are some refreshing cocktails to keep you cool plus some tunes to turn up while you mix those drinks!

Jalapeño Paloma

Ingredients

  • 2 Jalapeno Slices
  • 1 Lime Wedge
  • .5 Part Lime Juice
  • 2 Part Avion Silver
  • 4 Parts Grapefruit Sparkling Water
  • 1 Part Grapefruit Juice

Spicy Bitter Michelada

Ingredients

  • 1 pepper (anaheim, poblano, cayenne or jalapeño)
  • Approx 1 cup of vodka
  • 3 kumato tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire
  • Dash of tabasco
  • Dash of celery bitters
  • 1/2 teaspoon of celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 light beer (e.g. Corona)
  • Cucumber spears for garnish

Hurricane

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Light Rum
  • ½ oz Navy Rum
  • ½ oz Orange Juice
  • ½ oz Pineapple Juice
  • ¼ oz Lime Juice
  • ¼ oz Passion fruit Syrup
  • ¼ oz Lime Cordial
  • 1 Whole Cherry
  • 1 Wedge Pineapple
  • Ice Cubes

Bloody Maria

Ingredients

  • 2 ounce Patron Silver Tequila
  • 5 ounce Bloody Mary Mix
  • Lemon Wedge
  • Celery stalk

Black Beery Whiskey Smash

Ingredients

  • Bourbon
  • Wheat Beer
  • Blackberries

Strawberry Lemon Mojito

Ingredients

  • 8 Lemon Wedges
  • 24 Mint Leaves
  • 5 Strawberries
  • Ice
  • 8 ounces Gold or Aged Rum
  • 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 2 ounces prepared sugarcane syrup or agave nectar
