It’s finally here! Check out Lauren Daigle’s long-awaited new single

“Hold On To Me” is the superstar’s first release since her 2018 breakthrough album Look Up Child

This isn’t a drill: Lauren Daigle just released a new single, and we may go as far as to say it’s exactly what the world needs right now. The first release since her 2018 triple-platinum album Look Up Child, which contained the smash hit “You Say,” her soaring new ballad “Hold On To Me” offers the world a hand to hold onto at a time when life feels pretty unsteady.

Co-written with long-time collaborators Paul Duncan (“Still Rolling Stones”) and Paul Mabury (“You Say,” “Still Rolling Stones”), Daigle began the song a few years ago, not realizing how topical and vital its message would become. “We wrote it for such a different time period and then 2020 hit and it’s like, ‘Whoa! Those lyrics just came to life in such a different way,” Daigle tells American Songwriter.

“There are times we may need a reminder of who we are and that we are worthy of having joy in our lives,” she continues. “In moments where the future may look uncertain and unknown, this is a song of hope that any person can cling to.” Check it out below, and get it on your playlists ASAP by clicking here.
