AXS TV is partnering with Farm Aid to air and stream “At Home With Farm Aid” on April 11. Farm Aid founders and board members Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young will perform in the hour-long event as they raise funds and awareness for farmers who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Farm Aid President Willie Nelson will be joined by his sons Lukas and Micah. Together, they will deliver an intimate performance with Mellencamp, Matthews, and Nelson. The artists will come together to perform a must-see set from their individual homes and studios.

AXS TV is presenting “At Home With Farm Aid” as part of the premier music network’s new @Home And Social” initiative. The new program gives artists a continual platform to connect with their fans as they broadcast live performances from their homes. Proceeds will go to support those who are affected by the virus.

Viewers can watch the simulcast on AXS TV as well as and the network’s social media channels.

For over 34 years, Farm Aid has worked to build an agricultural system that values family farmers, good food, strong communities and more. Farmers face new challenges in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Farm Aid is stepping up once again to help create farmer-led solutions to COVID-19.

The organization is making emergency grants to farmers and ranchers in need. Farm Aid will also “create comprehensive resources for farmers; connect farmers to legal, financial, and mental health support resources; support local, state, and national farm organizations; and advocate for COVID-19 recovery funds and resources from the federal government for short-term relief and long-term resilience.”

“The coronavirus has disrupted our entire country and is a grave threat to all of us. One of its many impacts is that it has helped us to better see the value of essential people like healthcare workers, grocery store clerks, delivery truck drivers, and farmers and ranchers,” said Farm Aid president Willie Nelson in a statement. “Farm Aid has worked for 35 years to build a family farm centered agricultural system, and we are here now to support farmers and ranchers in this crisis, without whom we could not eat. The time to build a resilient family farm food system is now!”

“Farmers have given so much to America,” said Sarah Weidman, Head of Original Programming, Development and Multi-Platform Content for AXS TV in a statement. “With COVID-19 putting the farming industry to the ultimate test, it’s our turn to give back. AXS TV is proud to continue our partnership with Farm Aid to bring our viewers this incredible event, hosted by four of rock, country, and folk’s most influential icons. We hope that it will provide some much-needed entertainment during this time, while also informing people everywhere of the crisis impacting our farmers, the essential services farmers bring us, and what people can do to help.”

Farm Aid’s coronavirus relief efforts mark a prime example of the country’s coming together in the face of an unprecedented global crisis. From healthcare workers fighting on the frontlines to businesses building ventilators and supplying vital personal protective equipment, to millions of people obeying stay-at-home orders, we are all pulling together to save lives.

Be sure to watch “At Home With Farm Aid” on April 11 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on AXS TV.
